The European Liaison Scheme (ELS) is a disk-based directory which is designed to reinforce and complement other activities by members of Partenariat.

It is essentially a simple scheme.

The Method of Operation:

• Partenariat members will be provided by the EISC with information and sales-tools which relate to ELS.
• Partenariat members will then be expected to approach companies in their own region and tell them about ELS.
• Locally, companies which wish to participate will then prepare a profile using a simple template.
• They will also choose language options, and they will agree to fees.
• The Partenariat member then collects those profiles and fees.
• The Partenariat member then returns the profiles to the EISC in the UK , keeping a proportion of the company's fee.
• The EISC is then responsible for supplying disks to each language area and each participating Partenariat member within it.
• These will be composite single-language disks which contain ALL of the profiles from ALL of the areas where the company has chosen to have representation in that one language.
• Our Spanish-speaking Partenariat partners will, as an example, then receive disks from the EISC on which ALL companies opting for representation in Spanish have a profile.
• Those Spanish-speaking offices will, anyway, also receive specimen disks in all other languages (there are 24 languages in total).
• The EISC will be responsible for translations as requested by profiled companies.
• The EISC will provide some disks in EVERY language to EVERY Partenariat member free of charge. Further copies will be chargeable.

• ELS will provide an unprecedented resource for Partenariat members, and one which will be very accessible to their companies.
• ELS will be particularly invaluable for briefings before meetings.
• ELS will encourage more effective use of meeting opportunities.
• Each Partenariat member has a role in the administration of ELS, but it's a simple scheme. And the EISC will have responsibility for it!
• ELS gives all participating Partenariat members the opportunity to earn revenue, which may be reinvested to promote ELS or used elsewhere.
